Book Of The Month?
Hey all,

It's been a while since I've posted (and I noticed it's been a while since others have posted too). I was wondering if anyone would be interested in doing another book of the month that everyone reads? I had fun with it the few times we did and what a better time to read than on Winter Break right? ^_^

If anyone else is interested, here are some possible books. Post if you have any ideas or want to join me in a book for December.

Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell by Susanna Clarke
Perfume By Patrick Suskind
The 10th Kingdom By Kathryn Wesley
Emma By Jane Austen
Faust By Goethe
The Host By Stephanie Meyer
The Subtle Knife By Phillip Pullman

Unfortunately, I have a large list of books in order of what I'd like to read, so I won't be joining in, but some of these are definitely making it on my list.... and if it ends up being the tenth kingdom, I may scrap my order and do that instead.

^_^ Then the 10th Kingdom should def be on the list. What are some of the books on your list that you must read? Perhaps there are some of common interest?

After finishing the Iliad... which I hope will be done by January, I'm going through the entire Anne of Green Gables series. After that comes the Odyssey, then Brisinger... since I started listening to the series while working. After that I need to read Austen's unfinished works... then it's up in the air. I don't know if I'll be in the mood for more classics or if I need to detox with either juvinile fiction I missed out on (such as the Bartemus series) or retellings of fairy tales, or other modern fiction.

I have so many books that I have to read. I went to a book fair and i kind of went a bit crazy so now I have a pile of books that I have to get through but I wouldn't mind reading The Host but I want to read the Twilight series first.
